Wilfried Hesser, Univ.-Prof. Dr.

Wilfried Hesser, as the head of the EU-Asia Link Project Management, is in charge of coordinating administration, budget, communication co-operating with the team in Rotterdam, Henk de Vries and Albert Feilzer from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Wilfried Hesser therefore takes care of conceptual and technical administration, the budget, the organization of schedules and implementation of project tasks and content. Wilfried Hesser is in charge of communication, strategy, planning of events and implementation in close connection with all project teams and partners in Asia and Europe. In the upcoming 33 months he will conduct the content of the teaching units on European Standardization in close cooperation with his Dutch partners, Henk de Vries and Albert Feilzer. Wilfried Hesser is current holder of the chair, Standardization and Technical Drawing at Helmut-Schmidt-University , University of the Federal Armed Forces - Hamburg, and has produced several expert reports on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and development in Kenya, Zimbabwe and Nigeria as well as reports on standardization in China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines. Since 2002 Wilfried Hesser is coordinating successfully the e-learning platform, ILIAS, at Helmut-Schmidt-University in Hamburg.



Wenke Siedersleben, M.Sc./ M.A.

Wenke Siedersleben started working in January 2004 for the EU-Asia Link Project. As project manager she takes care of conceptual and technical administration of all workshops and meetings, budget coordination and allocation, planning of schedules and implementation of project tasks and content. Wenke Siedersleben is in charge of communication, strategy, team development and task planning in relation to events incorporating the project teams, partners, EU representatives and externals in Asia and Europe. Additionally she is responsible for the EU-Asia Link-PR, documentation, project reporting to the EU. Beyond that, due to her background as social scientist, she works on the EU-Asia link e-learning concept,inplementation and methodology. Wenke Siedersleben completed a Master of Science in International Educational Studies at University of Oxford and a M.A. in Sociology and Political Science at Humboldt University Berlin.
